TVTropes does it for me. I've been known to take the odd internet hiatus for such reasons.

I've never gotten into TVTropes. Like, I'll look up the occasional word or movie; but I've never been sucked into its vortex. (Although I feel like I should spend more time on it, so I know what people are talking about when they reference a page from it.)

ohnotheydidnt and the IMDB trivia pages are my internet crack. Oh, and Cracked.com if I haven't been on it in weeks.

Well you're a stronger person than me, then. I suppose I'm just easily distracted.

On the other hand, I've never been sucked into ONTD like others seem to be. I'm not that interested in celebrity gossip for one thing; for another, the thing updates itself so fast I just can't keep up.

But AW is truly where I waste most of my hours when I'm supposed to be writing.

I'd say a 1/4 of my ONTD interest is the gossip; mostly I stay for the user comments and GIFs that manage to pop up.
