WIP Update

I feel like my brain has melted and grey matter is leaking out my ears. Ugh.

On the plus, I completed my WIP this afternoon, clocking in at just shy of 60,000 words. (59,200 words if we want to play with actual numbers here.) So yes, after bitching and moaning a couple days ago, I slapped together a final chapter I can live with finished writing ( Read more... )

I envy your ability to get done a consistent amount of writing each week.

I've only just finished outlining my YA Sci-fi series, and will begin writing the first WIP tomorrow.

Ah, I miss Buffy. But I miss Joss Whedon's work more. I wish he'd do another series. I was so mad when Dollhouse got canceled.

I was upset too when Dollhouse was canceled. But! Joss Whedon is directing an episode of Glee in the coming weeks, so I can't wait for that!

My frantic state of mind is what makes my writing get done, if I were to be honest. I just have this need to get an agent Right. Now. To do so, I need a new manuscript. Whether the writing's good or not remains to be seen.

I have done plenty of outlining too, especially for my planned series. And honestly, I wish I were a better outliner, because I think it would cut back on the bad writing I inevitability delete.

Good luck with your new WIP!

Yay for finishing the WIP! I know, it's not "done" yet, but it's still a good feeling to close a story arc, isn't it?

Enjoy the break. You've earned it!
