new icon, vacation, cycling, etc

Originally this icon was going to have zombies in it. Maybe it still will. When I tried it just now, however, it looked more like the goth special olympics than a zombie attack. I'm still impressed with the way the shadows seem to disappear behind the headstones...

However...judging from the height/length of the shadow, should the upper half of the shadow emerge briefly from behind the RIPstone before merging with the tree's shadow? I'm only saying this because you're so obsessive with detail. :)

Personally, I like it the way it is--I prefer to think that there's a shadow mutilating gremlin lurking behind the RIPstone.

Re: Biking...you're making me wish for a nice light bike so I could start biking to the train, haul the bike on the train down to seattle, then bike across 90 to work. Doing that with my current bike would suck. An excuse? Maybe.

I was trying to have the shadow fall through the branches of the tree. If you look very closely, the figure is behind the tree at that point, but you're right, the shadow does kind of stick out. I'll fidget with it.

Please tell your MiL that Smump and I said "hello!" :) We think of her often, especially since we still use so much of their old furniture! Kira is lounging on the orange velour rocker at the moment.
