Education is full of those delightful patches where you run around shrieking, only to fall down on your face and cry. (Well, mine was anyway.) You will make it through because even though it doesn't FEEL like it, you are strong; definitely strong enough to get your shrieking done, pull it together, and get it done. *claps to help bring your dim glow of belief back to life!*
And I'm always here, if you ever just need someone's ear to shriek inconsolably into! Just an FYI. :D
Aw... I hate those last minute oh- fuck-shit-piss- my ENTIRE-FUTURE- HANGS- in-the -balance-Panic Attacks!!
But I've gotten rather good at them.
I hadn't written my FINAL PAPER for group process (graduate level psych stuff) and I was in a a rage freaking out and screaming to myself about how stupid group process is anyway and the only effective therapy is individual and why the fuck do we have to learn this crap (this is on the day I had to drive down to the Bay Area to turn this term paper in) I called the professor made up a long really sad story about being snowed in (in May...?)and ended up *reading* the imaginary paper to him from my stupid notes over the phone.
Later on I kinda had to do a little self exploration to figure out I was still reeling at some unconscious level from my cult experience and thinking about, reading about, writing about *anything* done in a group setting was firing off a massive PTSD attack. Who knew? I'm better now, thank you. =oD
Uh... the point of all that was YOU CAN DO IT! Yes, you can....
