Generation X was my first Douglas Coupland book -- and I disliked it because it was assigned for a university class. (Even though I love to read, I hate being forced to read something.)

All Families Are Psychotic was the first Coupland novel I read "for fun" -- and it was great! IN IT, THERE IS A CHARACTER WITH THE FIRST NAME SHW. That pretty much gives an idea of the story right there. :-)

At any rate, it's made me think that perhaps I should give Generation X another try. ;-)

xoxo.
