You've done such an amazing job taking bits of comics and movie canon and making them into something new and layered and heartbreaking. I should have expected that after D'Ancanto, but I really think you surpassed yourself by an order of magnitude. How long 'til LeBeau is done? ;)

But, as always, EVER so pleased that you're pleased. Lebeau is on the drawing board. It's the tying-up-of-ends story so I want to take my time to make sure it all breaks that remaining pieces of your heart makes sense.

Oh, you made me cry! That last scene was brutal. She was home, after all Marie and Pete went through to find her. She was supposed to be safe.

:( I pretty much knew from the beginning that Illyana was going to die either in this book or in Lebeau, the last in this trilogy. Unfortunately, because I did want this series to be realistic, I had to keep from writing all the happy endings.
