I find lots of good gifts for dad-type people at Brookstone. Like grilling tools and alcohol stuff (lots of wine stuff there, but I'm thinking the beer glass set for my dad). Failsafe: Tempurpedic slippers or the like.

Sorry if I'm way off base for what your dad would like.
