Yeehaw and other sorts of stereotypes

Going to Dallas, Texas for the next 10 days with my mom to visit my uncle with THE PRODIGIOUS BRAIN. She needs moral support methinks.

Anyone who lives in and/or know the Dallas area, please let me know places to visit & good restaurants to eat in. I have a feeling all my mom wants to do is shop. *eyeroll*

What kind of food do you like, and what do you like to do? :)

If you decide you want a puppy fix, send me an email. :P The babies are ready to start meeting strange humans.

Any food, any time. ;) I'm not sure I can take side ventures because I'm not driving (also, having experienced my cousin's "driving skills"). Approximately where are you so I can propose it to said cousins?

I'm in Lancaster but puppies will be ready to do some limited travel, too- just no places with other dogs. :P (This means getting stuffed in a purse and going to one of the outdoor malls in the evenings, generally. :P )

The DART Rail can be useful and there are some good lunch places at the downtown stops- Campisi's downtown location has GREAT pizza; Corner Bakery is a chain but has good sammiches and free wifi. The Aquarium is nice if you like that kind of thing; it's a bit expensive to get in but OMG THEY HAVE MANATEES.

Oh, and if you like tacos? Fuel City (yes, it's a gas station) has NOMMY tacos. And roasted corn stuff. NOM.

Thanks ever so. He's feeling weak, as expected, and annoyed that all food tastes salty. But quite happy that he has company!
