So I'm driving home and this song comes up on the classic rock station and you just KNOW Lois Lane gets heavy freaky playing this song on the background.

It's funny, I think of a ton of songs for my favourite characters and pairings for fan mixes. But when it comes to thinking of what song the characters themselves would be into, I have a tough time. I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that the characters I tend to like probably wouldn't be into the music I listen to. But anyway.

I do love your choices here, especially the one for Remy! And with that image! I think to get a girl into the mood, though, he'd probably go with Springsteen's "I'm On Fire." I feel like he'd be into the Michael Andrews & Gary Jules version of "Mad World," as well.

Rogue I think would be into the Sugarbabe's "Too Lost in You" and quite possibly "Into the Night" by Santana featuring Chad Kroeger. I also feel like the Doobie Brother's song "Black Water" would fit in somehow for Rogue.

Also, Janis and Zeppelin rock.

Yeah, it can be tough because you have to think about what kind of music THEY'D like and the associations THEY'D have. For example, the Remy I put in here is mainstream/comic!Remy who's probably a little bit of rock and a little bit of country (but no Osmonds). Elemental!Remy would probably chose something hiphop or rap albeit with similar lyrical content.

Yeah. And except for Rock 'n' Roll, I'm not really into those genres of music, so I simply don't have a concept of what songs they'd like.

When I was plotting out Elemental, I just knew that verse's Remy loved hiphop but I knew nothing about it outside of the Top 40 from the radio. And I didn't really like those. So, I tapped my sister for some suggestions about all the East-side, West-side, South-side stuff. Imagine my horror when I actually started LIKING the stuff. *L*

So now, when I zone into Elemental!Remy, I have OutKast, Kanye West, Eminem and Ludacris in my brain. I have no explanation for Elemental!Remy's liking of Justin Timberlake's FutureLove/SexSounds. I don't think he does either. ;)
