I am SERIOUSLY jonesing for a Mulan marathon. And by that I mean, watching Disney's Mulan over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. Having a Disney Princess come within the same continent as my ethnic background was awesome, true but more than that, the music was brilliant and Mulan generally kicked ass all around. SHE saved HER boyfriend, goddammit. And at the end of it all-- saving China, beating the death sentence, honoured by the emperor-- her mom still complained about how dark her skin got from being out in the sun. THAT IS MY MOTHER.
