And OMG yes, you have to get Birthright. I love it because Clark is flawed, sharp and clever, and genuinely kind, in a way that the DC mainstream sometimes loses sight of (even though it constantly likes to parrot how "good" Clark is.) And it's a fascinating look of the hows and whys he becomes Superman.

Oh, good I have "sharp" and "kind" down at least. *LOL* I am a Superman newbie, I must admit. I've been pouring over the few 80's JLA issues that I had as a wee one and the Death of Superman TPBs that my dadabosultey HAD to have because OMG! Superman's Dead! (he didn't know that main character death is a normal occurance in Marvel and thus was puzzled at my nonchalance).

You wouldn't happen have time to beta, would you? Or know someone who does? *big Bambi eyes*

Oh, heck, I won't be done until mid-next week I think. Not now that it's turned into a monstrosity. Go edit the hell out of your thesis first.

Ooooh, Infinite City art! That looks VERY awesome. Is this like Larocca's run on X-treme X-Men where there were no inks, just computer-coloured pencils?

I've heard of Absolute Power (in my mad research dash). I'm basically getting my grubby paws on as many TPBs as my stretched budget can handle.
