Thanks, I wrote and finished this over Xmas, and just got the whole thing back from my BETA, so I'm posting this while I try and get the next chapter of YoB finished, hopefully it won't be to far away. :)
As for the demands it has to be something the alien asked for but with a bit of a Harkness twist.

The fires are terrible, I live in Western Australia so I'm safe and I've heard from the few people I know over there so I know they're safe but we're sending money and supplies over to help.
