This is even more awesome with the close-ups and the knowledge of what those textures actually are. Brilliant. :D

Well, I'm glad the million hours of copy-pasting were not spent in vain! Thank you!

Very cool!

I do 'actual' stained glass (or, I should say I USED to do it before having two kids ...) and this TOTES looks just like it! And your method is very similar! Half the fun of making stained glass is searching though all of the different colours and textures to see what will work best with what.

Doing it on the computer is much less messy, I'm sure!

Very nice work!

Hahaha! A *lot* less messy, yeah, although you should have seen the size of that file, with the gazillion reference images... I would love to try my hand at actual stained glass one day. I should probably get on that *before* having kids then :P

Thank you again for your comments!

Thanks so much for showing me the link to this. It's WONDERFUL. It must have taken you absolutely ages. I love the composition, and the colour choices are absolutely beautiful.

Darn, I wish I could actually have a "real" version of this in a window in my home.

It did take foreveeeeeer! But it was worth it! And yeah, it would be pretty cool to have this made, but I pity the poor person who would have to do it! :P
