with physical altercations, there's usually a big difference in perception for the two people involved. no one ever wants to say they started it or that they were the reasons that things got out of hand. most men that hit women are stand-up guys in general in my experience, it's just when folks are angry and hurt is when stuff changes, kind of like when alcoholics black out. i believe britney, and it doesn't mean that i hate geoff or think he's a lump of shit or that i'm never gonna talk to him again or something stupid like that. i will always be his friend and i know that relationships are complicated and that people have issues and sometimes shit just gets outta hand.
