Happy Place...Happy Place...
My wisdom tooth hurts like hell, I'm still looking for work, praying that Congress are going to be somewhat decent and pass the unemployment extension, and I'm smelly. FML
Upside, my computer is now fixed and back with me. Downside...I'm back to Vista (the loaner had lovely, lovely Windows 7...). -
Sh*tc*cks
Due to having a harddrive die a painful death on me, I'm having to use a loaner computer until the one I'm renting-to-own is fixed. Also, I've been getting the run around about whether or not I'll be getting an extension on unemployment, have heard nothing back about any of the applications I've put in, and my sleep schedule has gone all to hell.

Aaron and I went on a little trip up to see our eldest sibling and his wife. It was awesome! 8D And now, I'm actually going to go sleep now. -

My granny finally got to go home! She's able to eat a bit and hopefully is doing somewhat better now.

Oddly Upwards
Compared to the last few days, I've been having a decent day today. My little brother and I went out to cash the check of fortuitous arrival, I ended up finally opening a savings/checking account, and after all's said and done, I actually have more than some random loose change in my wallet. I'm even feeling less grouchy about the lovely monthly ( Read more... ) -
Some Tiny Relief
The doctors finally figured out why my grandmother was bleeding internally. It wasn't the cancer, it was an infection she'd gotten when they first did surgery on her. They pretty much told my mom and grandpa that if they wished to sue the hospital, they'd be alright with it. Let's just say that my mom counter-offered to deck the doctor. Yeah... Massive FML
My grandmother's back in the hospital and likely won't be around much longer. My mother's likely going to have a fucking breakdown and my grandfather isn't likely to last very long after my grandmother passes away. I'm torn between going to see her and the fear that I'll have a meltdown in hospital that'll just make things worse. My brother's being ( Read more... ) -
