Ideas are pouring out of my head like crazy lately, and it's all in a disorganized, jumbled mess.  Chapter 4 (as I'm calling it now, since I decided chapter 3 would be better off as just one part) has so many things going on in it that even I am confused as to what is happening.I'm trying the best I can to break these ideas into parts that make

These scenes all sound amazing, Van. I CANNOT WAIT. I'm curious to see who Guy's sister is married to, too.

The two parties are happening simultaneously, right? Maybe put one party in each one (as the "main" story) and Guy's mini story and the Tech story as the secondary story?

Or, if that's a wreck continuity wise (perhaps Guy has to be at one of the parties and can't be in two places at once, for example) you could do part 1 of your chapter as the "party part" and the second part as the "fallout from the party" part (and to tie both parts together you could have Guy talking about the party in passing as he's hanging out with his sister)?

(sorry to sound pushy but I really love trying to figure out how to make story stuff work--I'm fighting that battle with Peculiar right now)

Two parties at once? You must be a glutton for punishment (especially with the Bunker party, it sounds like you have to set up a lot for that).

I can't wait to see the Techs and the Kleptoids (based on the word kleptomania, perhaps?).
