SimStorytellers Drabble Prompt: Transition

Fastest Drabble Ever? Possibly. I've had this scene written and the pictures taken for days, and I had to get it out there. It wrote itself, with all autonomous actions. This is the shortened version of a scene that will show up in Immortal Beloved- Gen. 2: Chapter 2.

Oh, how cute. I sense a young crush. :) I wonder what will happen after this transition.

Oh yes you should sense one! She did this all by her self, while I was shooting pictures of Gherkin and Dill that I was going to use. I actually had another picture of her taken before the one where she's talking about the book (Where Maxis was staring in the mirror with an embarrassed face and Lydia was looking at him, grumpy like always... He sort of looked like he was scared of her lol.) that really inspired me to do this scene. She literally follows him around like a little lost puppy, and whenever she tries to talk to Maxis, the reaction is always negative. These two are such great actors. :)

I love when the sim actors improvise good material like that. It's those little gems that make writing a sim story different than writing anything else. The characters can actually act without your influence. It's so interesting.

Yeah, that's the idea. We'll post links on that post until next week, when we'll start a new one. I probably didn't explain it clearly enough. Thanks for getting the ball rolling on this one. :D

Yeah, it can also totally change what you're thinking about doing with the characters! Because of what the sims have done on their own, what I originally had planned with them has now turned into several options that I can't decide what to do! But still, they're just teens right now- the final outcome will probably get changed many times once they get into college. I have something planned though that *I hope* will not change at all. Let's just say I'm arranging a marriage with one of the Mace sisters because I think they'd be an awesome couple. :P

I probably didn't understand the post because I was half asleep when I finished it. You're welcome! It was fun to do, and sometimes my sentences need a little shortening anyway. I'm thinking about some of the others now too, that may be useful for thinking up a scene in upcoming chapters.

Many things that might happen with them I still haven't figured out yet because Lydia hasn't been played for a while and I've yet to have her actually transition. It will come soon though, maybe two chapters from now.

I can't wait to post the full version! Unfortunately I have to work out the ending of the chapter and take a few more pictures.
But I will tell you this though: Maxis will definitely be having a little too much fun with changing his looks in the mirror.

Haha, 7 nice point Maxis is indeed sweet, though with this 1 nice point firecracker he feels a little overwhelmed. She comes home on the bus with Vidcund's twins a lot, supposedly to play with them... But ends up spending most of her time stalking Maxis. Yep, she's definitely persistent about it!

Thanks! I like that line as well, but I think the actual way I have it in the chapter is a bit different.

I'm loving how people are already predicting how these two will be like together in the future. Hmm, so you think she'd make his head spin in a Jill/Ripp sort of way huh?

To be honest, I'm really open to ideas for these two, since I don't know exactly what I'm gonna do yet. And I like the way you're thinking. ;)
Whether or not that would happen is still up in the air, but it's possible!

I'm like the others, I like aggressive young female sims (well, aggressive like this).

I can't wait to see what kind of makeover she gives herself after her transition. I get the feeling Maxis won't be using "kiddo" to describe her anymore.

Well then, you would like all three of the Mace sisters! None of them have over 3 nice points, and I love making their bitchiness shine through. But Lydia is definitely the most aggressive, and it might just get worse when she gets older.

Oh God, I need to search for something great to dress her in then! I can't wait.
