Vacation

Just spent the past week visiting friends all over the east coast. It's amazing how I can spend a week traveling the country, basking in the company and love of people and see that they are genuinely happy, and that my presence can be part of that experience. Then I can come home, and immediately feel the mundane solitude and isolation return

Well this was technically a business trip since there was a psychology convention in DC that I presented at. But yeah, totally just an excuse to hit the road and remember what freedom tastes like. I definitely need to take you up on some Austin based adventures. I'm still kicking myself for not getting the funding together for a Japan adventure when you were there.
