Ok I work with some of the smartest people out there. But also some of the dumbest. One believes he is smart although everyone knows otherwise. So he is a source of endless entertainment and frustration at times, like today!

In a meeting with lots of smart people and the idiot.
Idiot: We must have feature XYZ as part of the minimal requirements

I think the idiot may be from the "make your own reality" school of thought. Unreal! I hope he's not in charge of anything important.

Try threatening to quit, but be ready to back it up if you're serious. Usually the quiet, competent people get walked all over and the people who create chaos are catered to. So make a li'l noise and see what happens.
