After 11 days, finally updates to say that the filming has reached the halfway mark.
27 days after the crank in, his hair finally gets mentioned in the sightings.
But that doesn't matter thanks to the Ningen interview on the 090729 Super News.

A very vague sighting but I'll add it here anyway.

Thank you! I've been wondering all day about what was said in the promo.

Though LOL at him telling he little girl to eat broccoli in order to grow up faster. Toma. You are so strange but adorable. Pimping the vegetables. ♥ And her saying he's a success as a human being. I'm so jealous of this tiny child, it's just not even right. xD

I'm so excited for the movie, though -- seeing the glimpses of him working on the set and such really gave off the vibe I was hoping for. Gah, another thing we have to wait patiently for~

thanks for your updates. i watched the promo videos but i can't understand what they're talking about.

i have to get used to his new hair. he's so thin, pale & looks so serious. even though he laughed during the interview, it looked out of place somehow maybe it's the seriousness of the movie huh?

i have to get used to his new hair - his hair in some scenes actually do remind me of dazai osamu's hair style. I guess that's the look they're aiming for.

and he is so thin! his waist is barely there, or unless it's his shirt that's making him look even skinnier. but the whole mood and atmosphere on the set does seem really serious. Very different from the energy that he usually gives off. he did say he'll be absorbed into the role during the movie. hopefully he'll be able to detach himself from Yozo once the filming is over.

toma looks so different, but i guess that's good, that he looks that way 4 his character. it's nice to see him happy and smiling during this interview, despite the movie being so dark. already at the halfway point!! so it will be only a 2-month shoot...gambatte toma~!
