On October 3rd, 2010, Molly and I went to Orpheum Theater in Boston to see The XXThey quickly became one of my favorite bands. I saw the Apollo Ono commercial during the winter Olympics featuring the song "Intro" and fell in love that instant. I listened to their album the entire time I was i Egypt, so now I always associate that trip with the band

I hate the Orpheum Theater. I try to avoid going to shows in that venue. I hate seated venues in general, especially if you're not in the first 5 rows.

I LOVE Crystalized so much. That song is just perfection to my ears. I heard their latest single on the radio, and it reminded me of a less good Crystalized. Do all their songs sound the same?

I've been debating downloading their album and Broken Bells, but I really don't listen to music that much anymore. I need to find a way to sneak it into work without bothering the other cubicles. If I do listen to music, it's aggressive music to get me pumped at the gym.

Yeah, we were in the way back and it sucked. I don't know of any bands that should play there except quiet art indie bands. Ack. My sister said she saw NIN there years ago when he did one of his last small club shows. I was shocked, haha. I was like. WHAT Trent would never play in such a shitty little place!

I LOOVE The xx. Yeah, some of their songs sound the same, but I think you should listen to the album. Give it a chance because it's so freaking good. The music can be soft and slow, but it's peaceful and ugh, I don't know.. just listen to em! I think you'll love them. I actually thought you'd be at the show.. thought you already liked them, haha.
