The media! It is sexist! Not! So!

Hillary did not have to face any sexism in the media. I just want to point that out. Any time she said she was facing sexism, she was obviously blowing things out of proportion, trying to play the victim card, and whining that the big boys were picking on her.

That being said, Sarah Palin will not be doing any media interviews until the McCain Read more... )

Wow, that is so insulting. It's like she needs McCain to protect her.

If Palin can't even handle interviews with the media, she is obviously not ready for the position.

Jesus Christ, I only caught the last 10 minutes or so of her speech, and that was plenty. I spent most of those ten minutes shrieking in outrage and shaking my fist at the TV.

And this media avoidance crap, I want to hope that it'll lead people to the conclusion that if she isn't ready to handle the media, she definitely isn't ready to handle the VP spot, but that may be terribly optimistic of me. Seriously, the closer Nov 4th gets, the more scared I am.

No, it's not until she's treated with deference, it's until the staffers assigned to her have pumped her brain completely full of information so she can actually answer questions she's given. Like, "who's the leader of Iraq? Where is Iran?" things she might have to know as VP. Wow, way to prove that women are still treated differently.

Surely not! Surely as a qualified VP candidate, Sarah Palin already knows these things! She has TONS of foreign policy experience, you know - Alaska IS right next to Russia. I know this because of my learnings. Also, I saw it on the map.

Sarah Palin won't subject herself to any tough questions from reporters "until the point in time when she'll be treated with respect and deference." WTF? What did she expect when saying yes to becoming a VP candidate? Mrs Palin... New York Times here... will you be baking when you become VP?
