When I was young I thought that fate was what made princesses and princes come together in my fairy tales.
I was wrong, fate was what killed Romeo and Juliet, fate is what brought me to that god forsaken wonderland, twice, only to tear me right back out.
Lucy says that I should be grateful for the time I was given.
. . . but what if I'm not grateful?
What if I didn't want to learn that particular lesson?
What if I liked my first, naive definition of fate?
