When I close my eyes, I can still see your face, your hair, your chest, your arms. I can still feel the frenzied kisses, your right hand holding me in the chair. I can still taste your lips. I can still hear your voice telling me you loved me and your quickened breathing when I kissed the scar that started at your collarbone and ended at your hip. I can still feel the swooping in my heart when you picked me up and walked us to the bed. I can remember the reverent way you slowly untied my dress, and how no matter how many times you said you loved me I still responded by kissing the breath out of you. I remember everything about that night, our night. But my favorite memory of us, had nothing to do with any of that. It happened after we had finished, when you pulled me over to you, and began to caress my face, and when I asked what you were doing, you answered, "Memorizing you, Susan. I never want to forget your face, or how beautiful you are tonight."
