All I have to say about yesterday is wow. I knew that the emotions would pick up as soon as the bell went off to change classes at 1:39. This by far as been the most emotional meet of the season by far. So readers beware, what you might be about to read might be kinda mushy, but I'll just type everything I remember. I'm going to be fully honest

I'm gonna go run now. That's how good it is. Just makes me miss the whole running in a race. I'm so disappointed I didn't get to watch any races this year... I'm just too darn busy/aloof.

Mike, I am really speechless. I don't know what to tell you other than I opened this entry an hour ago, and I've been crying ever since. I had to stop reading for a while and try to talk to my mom, but I couldn't do it. I couldn't make my voice work, and I couldn't make the tears stop. Then I finally calmed down and started to read it again, and I started to cry again.
You are such a amazing, genuine person, and I am so fortunate to have had the chance to get to know you. Mike...I don't know what to say. Coe-Brown cross-country consists of the best, most honest, caring people, and your entry made me realize that.
I really look forward to going out with you tomorrow. We can talk about the specifics tonight at Kristen's.

Also: This entry very much confuses me. Cuz' when I see you in real life, it almost seems like you don't express your feelings enough... like, you're almost stoic, shall I say. Then you go and pull an entry like this outta your ass and I'm like "wft?! the depth of his journal entry is along the lines of my more deeper entries
