Fandom: NewS
Pairing: Masuda/Tegoshi

Disclaimer: Not associated with Johnny's Entertainment. This is fiction; it never happened.
A/N: I actually wrote two versions of this, the first of which was actually rather angsty, and then I remembered that my requester wanted crack and fluff >_>; So that version will be included in my next drabble batch instead. For kataomi, who wanted "Massu behing jealous because of some rumors of Tegoshi having a girlfriend". Hope you like it! For my

“It’s just a rumor, Massu!” Tegoshi is laughing, which doesn’t do much to help the situation, but it’s Tegoshi, so he gets away with it anyway. Massu pouts a little bit harder and draws his knees a little closer to his chest, displeased. “It’s not real.”
“Are you sure?” It’s hard to keep the defensive edge out of his voice; Massu may be all rainbows and sunshine on his good days, but his bad ones can put Ryo’s sulky demeanor to shame. And Tegoshi’s response - to just laugh and laugh like it’s not something to be taken seriously, and okay, it’s not, but still - didn’t really help. “You seem pretty familiar with her here.”
Tegoshi rolls his eyes, still smiling. “Oh, for heaven’s sake,” He says, exasperated. “Come here.” And then he’s tugging at Massu, pulling his close, still giggling into his hair even as he presses kisses there repeatedly. “I love you, you insecure dummy. You know that.”
The way he says it, like it’s a simple fact of the universe, the same way that someone says “The sky is blue” or “The ocean is made of water”, makes it hard to feel anything but affection for him.
“I know,” Massu says, glancing down at the magazine in his hands, bold text on glossy paper, a grainy picture clearly taken by a cellphone of Tegoshi standing inches too close to a female coworker. He feels silly, suddenly, because it’s Tegoshi, he stands too close to everyone, and really, why was he even worried to begin with?
Tegoshi gently pries the magazine out of his hands, flips it closed and sets it aside, and Massu smiles, gives the younger man’s hand a squeeze.
Rumors are just rumors, anyway.
