How much free space does it say is available?
How old is the computer?
Did you format it as FAT32 or NTFS?
System specs?

The computer is a year old.
It says that there is 144 gigs available, but that it's full.
2+ Ghz processor
gig of RAM
Pretty good stuff
It's...FAT32 formatted. I think it came that way...

You should probably reformat it NTFS, unless you plan on accessing it with Linux :/ If that doesn't work, the manufacturer may have a low-level format tool to rewrite the tracks. Does this occur on any PCs other that your own?

I haven't tried hooking it up to another PC yet.
I think I'll hook it up to Blythe and transfer all my data, format the HD as NTFS, then transfer it all back. ^o.o^

I'd say try either finding another driver if at all possible or reformatting it into NTFS.

It could be that you've reached the cap for number of files in open space, and you need to start creating folders for stuff. Happened to me with a Ram stick. It said it was full when it was half full, but apparently that's becuase i copied EVERYTHING onto the drive without putting them in separate folders.
