AHA, I remember me sending you this! :D I'm glad you liked it. Also, OMG of course he will. ^_^ Tbh, I've been so busy thinking about the SRS BSNS of this fic, I'm forgetting that yes, Arthur is still Arthur, and he will still be all "AHAHAHAHA YOU MASQUERADED AS A MORON FOR TWO YEARS AND NO ONE REALISED ANYTHING, ANYTHING YOU'RE NOT TELLING US MERLIN? OR DON'T YOU KNOW HOW?" the lulz...

Have also realised that this is basically going to be a v. v. long character study. Will tell you more on msn sometime if you're interested. And yes, my duck was delicious, by the way. *is smug*

Ahem. YES, YES I MUST. I'M SURPRISED YOU HAVEN'T REALISED THIS YET. HAVE A SMUG ICON FOR THAT REASON ALONE.

AHAHAHAHA PAID ACCOUNTS FTW. AKA: I caved. ^_^

Aw, bb, it's alright, you're having funtiemz with RL people now!

Don't kid yourself, hon, you've been failing at human life for longer'n you think. *tackleglomps*

*laughs* Oh, you can bet there'll be lulz on Arthur's side about it, it's all just a bit raw atm. And I know how you enjoy lowering tones. SUGGESTIVE WINK.

I might possibly have done a little happy dance when I saw you'd posted more of this! I was re-reading chapter 1 just last week and wondering what would happen next :) This is still fantastic - I'm a little bit worried for what Merlin might have gone through in his years of exile, but mostly i'm just happy he's getting rescued. Their relationship is so sweet here, how Arthur is so happy to have him back but can't express it properly, and how quickly they get back to their old ways (the horsie bit was hilarious). The affection between them feels so real. I'm very intrigued as to what has been happening in Camelot for the 5 years Merlin has been away, not to mention Merlin's story. This was exactly what I needed to read tonight!

And also (I know I said this last time, so sorry for just repeating myself) but i'm very happy to see The Boyfriend is still progressing as well :)

Aw, mate, I'm DELIGHTED that you like it enough to do that! Surprised, but totally delighted.

I hope it lives up to your expectations as it goes on! I'm wary of making Merlin's exile too OMG ANGSTY, but - no, it wasn't easy for him. Mind you, Arthur wasn't exactly having the best time either - the danger will come if they don't address it. At the moment? I've no idea WHAT they're going to do. :D It'll be an, um, surprise?

And I'm still OMG THRILLED that you remember it, wow! Thank you!

How did I not see this before?!

This was one of the best spend hours of my week, and I look forward to spending more in front of this screen for more of it SOON. Right? It will be soon?

I love how you've made Merlin seem half of what he is and it's sort of his and Arthur's secret, for now. I also love how little bits of the old Merlin shine through so obviously, yet there is obviously damage on the surface that he slips under.

Very intrigued =D

Oh, wow, thank you! Yes, more should definitely be coming soon - it certainly won't take as long as before! I'm so glad you enjoyed it so much, thank you. ^_^

Merlin's definitely a bit - aha - shaken by his experiences, but hopefully everything'll work out OK. I'm as intrigued as you!

Thanks again! :D

"If you’re already" - All ready! Dude! You're doing an English degree!

Very nice! I have totally failed to check your LJ - you know how I am with that stuff - but I have finally gotten around to using this 'Are Are Ess' feeder thing and so hopefully the maddeningly inconvenient format of LJ shall FALL BENEATH MY TECHNOSAVY!

“David.” He turned to Merlin and plastered a suitably patronising expression on his face. “Go and get my horse. My horse, d’you understand?” Merlin’s eyes were brimming with laughter, but his mouth was slack and stupid. “Horsie, David.”

(Grinning) I laughed out loud at that point. You nailed him.

AHAHAHAHAH SILENCE, MINION! I'm not doing an English degree yet!

I do, and this RRS feed thing intrigues me. Explain, plz?

*grin* The horse bit was actually fun to write, I'm glad that actually worked. And how are you, anyway!? *sprints off to see if you're online*

Well iGoogle (which is actually unexpectedly fun to use.. and tied in with my Gmail and that LinkedIn thing..) hass the RSS Reader as part of it.

Basically, you add a website/blog/whatever that you want to keep an eye on and it automatically grabs the updates and displays them for you. You can scroll down several updates from several pages all at once on one page - no more trying to keep track of 50 million different sites!!

And as you scroll down it registers them 'looked at' and doesn't bother you with them again.

Sweet huh?

That was great. I loved how they were able to get away with the lies about Merlin being a half-wit. Well done so far.
