Armour Info

So, while I was up at Mont Orgeuil - *points down a post* -  there was a display board listing all the individual parts of a medieval knight's armour. I thought this might come in quite useful for Merlin stories of whatever kind, so here it is! Some of it's quite obvious, but it's here in it's entirety.

Damsel-in-Distress!Jared who is still taller than Jensen, and has been forced into one of those really tall, pointy hats women wore in Medieval times.

Heh... Enchanted!Verse!!

*laughs hysterically* "Jared tore off the hated hat and resisted the urge to stamp on it.

"Aw, Jay, I thought it was cute!" Jensen said, sweetly, and Jared skewered him with a glare.

"Jensen? If you weren't in full armour at the moment, I would STAB YOU WITH MY HAT. And remember, I know where you sleep..."

I've compiled something related for Arthur's armor in particular a while back, if you're interested: http://suaine.livejournal.com/538364.html

Glad to help! Though I can't take any credit, I got to wander round a pretty castle in the sunshine and take photos. :D

Reenactment broad sword fighting? Wow! I'm torn between total envy and wincing in imagined pain. :D
