I am! It's super enjoyable, though there's quite a lot of "so what IS IT you do, exactly?" and people only lose the confused look when I tell them I want to be a lawyer when I'm done. :D

OMG that is incredible! What sort of things would you be publishing? What genre/type of work are you looking at? EEEE! :D

At the moment we'll be specialising in any type of romance/erotica story over 20k - starting off with ebooks and then most likely moving into print versions.

*cough* so, you know, if you (or anyone else you know) have written anything and want to get published/earn money... *cough*

THat sounds fantastic! And yeah, ebooks definitely seem to be the way forwards. How does it work, logistics wise? Would you be selling them on amazon, or one of the big sites like that, or on your own? *totally new to this*

Ha, you say that, but I actually do! It's currently only a few thousand words, but I'm working on it. (YOU ARE SO GOING TO REGRET SAYING THAT, AHAHAHAHAHAH.)

I'm glad you got them! I wasn't sure, because I took so long about it, and then had to send the actual letter snail-mail rather than air-mail - and I didn't know which address I'd sent 'em to. If you want to give me your other address, I will happily send more mail! (Well, at least ONE more, because I only have one stamp left from Australia... but I LOVED the skull, Basil. :D)

For anyone reading this, it is a DRAWING of a skull. I WAS NOT SENT AN ACTUAL SKULL. :P

YES! Sort of. I'm excited in the way that I'm also faintly nauseous about trying to figure out what I'm doing after Uni. After this year, I've decided to do another two years of education and history, but after that, no clue. Why can't I just study and learn for the rest of my life? Why can't people be paid to do that? *sigh* As for what I'm thinking of doing, well. It's going to be paintings? And probably city-themed. I'm currently trying to think of any appropriately douchey explanation for why I want to paint what I'm painting, but, that comes with the territory :P I'm actually hoping to do a sculptural element to the whole city-theme later on in the year when I pick up a 3D Studio Elective, so, yeah, there will definitely be pictures. (Actually, I just remembered, I've turned into a slacker and I've stopped posting my art here, it's all going to my tumblr or deviantart, so if you want to check out what I've been doing go here: *shamelessplug*It's all good :D It's better late than never :) Besides, I love the Shakespeare one and ( ... )

Yay you're back! And ooh, what's your MA? :) (You've obviously been gone for so long that I've forgotten. :P)

Because I've just started looking at MA possibilities, since forging out into the real world in a year's time doesn't appeal to me on the basis that it is scary and not at all to my taste. Also, I have an assignment due in next Friday which demands I outline my plans for the future. Which is difficult when your plan is basically 'finish degree, get job, any job, some sort of job, write until published because I have unrealistic dreams and I'm sure it'll all work out fine in the end'.

As a life plan, I think it has merit, but apparently they're looking for something a little more substantial. ^^

I AM. Though probably not permanently, since life is hectic at the moment - currently writing a terribly exciting essay called "The Creation and Consideration of the Self through the Language of Emotion in Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility". Why yes, it is very exciting, now you mention it. ¬_¬

My MA, though is an interdisciplinary one specialising in sociological/literary history, and and it is FAAAABULOUS. I mean, my uni itself is a but mental, but the course is fantastic and my coursemates are looooovely, and I'm just having a fantastic time. :P

ahahahah, oh my goodness, why do you think I'm doing an MA? :D I went THE LAW IS SCARY AND I CANNOT. HOLD ME, ACADEMIA! And it did. What sort of thing are you looking at for an MA? (and btw, "write until I get published" is a totally valid life plan. *nodnod*)
