I'm glad you liked it, darlin', and seriously, no worries; RL always trumps fannish stuff. Did you get it all done in the end? (And don't be silly, lovey, there's nothing TO forgive!)

Hih, and this was totally my favourite part:
Gerard might be a fucking genius in some areas, but if Frank tried to talk around the subject and be all coy about it, they’d end up chatting about it for hours and then Gerard would go off and - write fucking poetry with sex-metaphors designed to highlight the frailty of the human existence, or some shit like that. So. Directness was key.
Good story :)

*g* I had fun with that bit. :D I'm glad you liked it, and thank you for reading!

The circumlocutious poetry with sex metaphors, the bordering on psychotic bluntness, the compulsive need to write after sex (especially awesome sex), the falling asleep on sofas at inappropriate times that should be infuriating but is really rather endearing, the cuddling, the awesomeness.
But darling, dream diary of an insomniac? Can I put that in my scrapbook please? I swear I'll let you have power of veto over anything that comes from it, but it's too precious to get lost.
You. I ♥ you. That is all.

And feel free to nab it! People seem to have liked it, which I glad of if a little confused by. :D I hope it provides inspiration at some point in the future and when you're a famous author I can point at it and go "I helped with that one! me! *twirls*"
