OMG, I was posting over in chioffbeat and I started poking around the Long Grove site. Look at all the fun festivals at Long Grove:
Long Grove 8th Annual Chocolate Festival May 4-5-6
Long Grove 25th Annual Strawberry Fest June 22-23-24
Long Grove 3rd Annual Greek Days August ?
19th Annual Long Grove Art Festival August 18-19
Long Grove 5th Annual Irish Days

I love Long Grove, but IMHO, festivals are really overcrowded.

Yeah? I'd believe it, but you know...? I'm kinda stubborn. I'd like to go at lease once so I can experience it. :D THEN maybe I'll be done with it ;).

I directed traffic for all of those festials every year. They are crowded with tons of rich, snobby bitches with more money than brain cells.

However, if you can make your way through them, there can be a lot of good food and stuff to be found. The Apple Festival has the BEST apple doughnuts in the wholllllllle world.
