God

Walking down the Quad today, I saw a phrase scrawled on the walkways, probably advertising some conference or seminar. The phrase was "Where is God?" Well, where is God? God is everywhere!! "The kingdom of God is within you and all around you. It is not within buildings of wood or stone. Split a piece of wood and you will find me. Look beneath a ( Read more... )

Yeah, words are inadequate to describe it... I lack the vocab, but amazing is a start. I wish I could convey it better, more clearly... :)

sleight of hand and 'true' magic are identical... it is all about what you believe... media programing has taken it's toll on humanity. somday the system shall degrade and the power within some shall shine as the brightest sun. But then again... -dylan/loki

You are right. God is everywhere. When tragedy comes upon us God is there welcoming the souls of the victims to heaven and comforting the families of the lost ones. On another note, I do not believe in the Goddess (I am a Christian), but I was named after one of her priestesses.

Coolness. Whether or not you believe in the Goddess, it's nice to hear that you agree.

Hi, nice to meet you. :)

Yeah, totally. I have a cute little box memorised, but I have a few books on it. I find it fascinating that you can make so many little things with a square piece of paper and the knowledge of the right sequence of folds. I littered the house with all manner of creatures when I was little.

Wow, thanks for sharing this experience. It seems weird, but I have also had some really strong spiritual experiences while I was at school walking across campus! Maybe because while you're at school learning, expanding your mind to accept new and foreign ideas, you are more open to the energies that are all around us, more open to perceiving them. So the realm of the "intellectual" and the "spiritual" are not as separate as people would have us believe. I totally never thought of this until I read your post! I had an experience where I saw a whirlwind climb up the side of the campus library and had a strong feeling of the presence of my ancestors, all the people who had labored with their hands and bodies, sweating to make a living, so that, eventually, I could have a better life and go to college.
Blessed Be!

That's so cool!! Yeah, it as amazing, and I could totally see school, especially college, allowing the mind to open more and thus allowing more to be percieved. Nice theory. :)

I'm glad you enjoyd my post!! I love sharing, and thank you for letting me know I'm not alone in this. *grin*

You not crazy. You're just doing what's right.

God is god, no matter the name we give him. Or her, for that matter.

Praying is praying, no matter the words we use, or the actions we take.

Thank you very much. Things get so hard, so weird, and people say so many things...

What is right? We'll never know, till we're there.

but I feel you are right. God is god, and prayer is prayer, and as long as the feelings are true, and the intentions good, we're on the right path. I think... ;)
