Oh my gosh, where to start? Everything has just been a whirlwind of activity the last 2 weeks and frankly I'm breathless. I'm SOOO nervous about the new job, scared that all the chances I've taken won't pay off, hoping that this massive upheaval and financial gamble is really all worth it. Just a heads up. You may want to leave 30 minutes early for bad weather if not earlier then that when commuting. I had to drive into the city for training for one of the jobs I had. One of the days it snowed. Thankfully I left an hour earlier then I had been the 2 days before. Since it took me a full 2 hours to drive in rush hour while it was snowing.

The issue there is dropping baby off Mon and Tues... I already am dropping her at 5:15... I'm not sure how much before 5 is doable...

Congrats on the wheels and such. I'm actually amazed that you've been able to navigate the metro area so long on public transportation with Devin in tow. I hope this new stage of your life makes things easier.

I <3 Long Grove. I don't go for the big festivals, but as it is near my folks' house (and where I grew up), we stop by for occasional weekend shopping. I was actually just thinking about how I should go there sometime before 2009 is up.

I'd love to see you guys when you're in town. I know you saw (will see?) Heather et all, as I saw Nick at Malcolm's first birthday party ;). Let me know next time and maybe we can *drive* and see you ;).

Good luck with your first day of work! I'm sure you're already in bed, seeing as it's almost midnight, but I know you start Monday, so I wanted to wish you luck. Also, wish Devin a happy birthday for me!! I'll have to figure out a time to come give her the present I got for her.
