I'm both a stress eater AND a stress shopper. Comes from my love of comfort, I'm sure, heh. But both can get me in big trouble, especially concidering money's a big part of my stress

I do both of those things as well. I don't have much by way of advice on how to stop them, lol, but I can certainly sympathize. :( We're feeling the money pinch like woah right now and I'm having the insane shopping urge. IT MAKES NO SENSE.

I do both of those things too. I have started to just sub veggies and fruits for stress eating. Works most of the time. I find a baked potato with butter seems to be the best. Since I tend to craze carbs when I am stressed out.

Stress shopping has become stress wish list adding on line. I get to look at lots of nifty things add them to my wish list if they are cool enough for me to want to buy. But not spend any money. Right now I am adding to both my list and Mattias' list.

I do stress wish listing. I need to do that MORE, though, like recently, I shop also cause it's s sae, like my 5 Old Navy shirts for $30. I needed more nicer casual shirts as I have a lot of short sleeved T's, so it was necessary... but still. No $$.

i JUST did this. we've got credit cards. some of them even new ones. one for kohl's, where i just ran up $350 in cookware and clothing. go me!

and i don't even want to start on the eating. i'm feeling the bulge return, i have to stop. ugh. i graze. the kids are sleeping? what can i sneak that i wouldn't let them eat normally? ohhh cookies!

Yeah... I used to do that with my Penney's card ALL the time o_O.
