Yeah, I just wanted my old posts to disappear. Also, I NEEDED to clean house, because reading my friends page was taking most of my morning every day, but I didn't want to cut anyone. So I told people about it, and have friended everyone who has requested. there are a lot of people that didn't make the move with me, and I understand. also, stragglers coming in.

i'm glad you came along to the new one. =)

*nods* I can see that, it makes a lot of sense. I bit the bullet a little while ago and cut some people, but seeing as no one seemed to notice, no harm done.

I know for me, I created a new account when Mike and I split. I needed to be able to type and not be judged, so only my closest friends were on it. A lot of the account is private, and it's still a very small one. I mostly read on this one, like always.

There was just a HUGE "fight" and unfriending in my mommy group and the whole thing just... baffles me. Like, people that were friends IRL for FIFTEEN YEARS are no longer talking, in part (though of course not totally) because of this internet fiasco. Of course WoW was also involved. Blech.

I think, sometimes it's like a slap in the face when you think someone is your friend, possibly even a good friend, and suddenly their thoughts are cut off from you, possibly without any explanation whatsoever. I know, it prolly seems silly, like, I guess you COULDN'T have been THAT good of friends after all, right? How could you be so silly, right? Why do you even CARE?? But these are some of the things that I think about sometimes.

Especially when I see it all around me these days. Happy holidays, indeed :P.
