I'm suddenly curious as to what you think of Platypi (Platypuses?).

I'm a fan, but they aren't nearly as cool as echidnas and anteaters and stuff!

I beg to differ. What is cooler than an egg-laying, posinous mammal with feathers and a duck bill. Platypi scoff in the face of Charles Darwin.

ok, i just looked up pictures of all three of these creatures...... the crab was pretty scary; the echidna was really weird looking, but sort of cute; but the one that freaked me out the MOST was the pangolin..... HOLY CRAP!!!! not cute, just scary! mix an anteater, armadillo, and kimodo dragon and that's probably what you'd get. no sir, no thank you, huh uh! Nature is cool! But anyone who thinks God doesn't have a sense of humor hasn't looked at some of these critters!

If only anteaters and their ilk ate roaches. THEN we'd be talkin'.

And I still see nothing wrong with spider crabs. I'd hug one while being completely naked and it wouldn't bother me. Actually, I'd probably be more likely to hug it while naked because my clothes wouldn't get dirty.

Besides, its limbs are so heavy it can barely hold them up in the air. And they're not aggressive. That's cute! I want to duct tape it to my back so I'd be like Doctor Octopus or the Iron Spider armor.

Also, it's delicious.

Tim if you came within 100 yards of me with a Japanese spider crab taped to your back I would run away screaming and we couldn't be friends anymore.

It would make me very sad.
