You know, I'm not sure I've ever read any Marcus stories before. I think I assumed he'd be canon!Flint, which doesn't interest me... did Draco's leather pants teach me nothing? Your Marcus has all the danger with none of the off-putting, unthinking meanness. And showing Percy how wrong he is never gets old. =)

I've never written Marcus before, and this fic was supposed to show him in a lot more manipulative and 'mean' light. But once I started writing it, he decided he was going to have a bit of a fascination with Percy; which was fine with me, since I adore Percy.

Before I'd read any HP fic, I thought the only Draco fic I'd enjoy would feature his abject humiliation at the hands of Hermione. BOY did I change my mind after reading a bit of fic. *g*
