I got hired for a part-time job this week! I'll be working as a bakery clerk at a grocery store. My brother works there already, and he recommended it as a good place to work part-time. After a phone-screening, I got called to the store to sign off on a background check last week, and on Tuesday I had an interview and was hired. I had a sort of

Thank you! I just have to do my best, and if it's the right job for me, it'll come through somehow.
I wish I had more non-business reasons to go to the Chicago area. ^^;
I'd be really excited if more Kisumai members could do nude shoots. ^_^

Since it's a women's magazine, and since it was the sex issue, they did a feature on AV and other erotic media targeted at women and collaborated with a company that made AV for women to include a special DVD. I won't know until I get the issue if it's something similar this year, though. ^^

That's good news! Even though it's not what you graduated in and it's "only" part-time, it will give you some work experience and, well, money is money! So congratulations! The timing is kind of a coincidence, but isn't that funny how it always seems to work out that way? It's like you go for a dry spell on the job search for a long time and then *BAM* suddenly a lot of things come up. Well, not always a lot, but you know what I mean. Hopefully you're able to get an interview set up for that other job and everything goes good with that :)

Thank you! Yeah, while looking at job postings more in my field, I kept thinking I really lacked the experience they wanted.

It had felt like a dry spell for a while, and then the past couple of weeks I've been having so many more phone calls than I like in my life. ^^;
