YAY! I'm so glad you've posted this! I'm really enjoying Selene, so it's fantastic to see her settling into her post-career life (and having such a big role in the rebellion). I think it would be incredibly hard for the former careers in the Peacekeepers to square the reaping of the victors with the promises of the Capitol; this is definitely what could lead them down the path of joining the rebels. Your overall effect is understated but powerful. More, please!

Yeah, I don't think they're the only ex-Career Peacekeepers to turn, actually. Just the only ones to do so in such a spectacular manner. (The ones who pulled Enobaria out and handed her to the Capitol probably are also having a crisis of conscience.)
