Hey Benji, I haven't seen you for a long time on here. I'm glad you're back and I hope you are able to write here some more, I'd love to listen to your musings.

You posting was such a blast from the past - it must be something like ten or fifteen years easily since I met you on BuffyDownUnder. Your appearance and your words above inspired me to reflect on things for myself, and to read my old LJ entries from ten years ago. I was surprised at how much I have changed - I think I have been burying the past, rather than reflecting on it. Which should probably change, so your post above has inspired some change in *someone's* life at least! ;-)

Thanks for the fun times at BDU and I hope to see more of you on LJ <3

That didn't last long! *grin*

I made the same promise to myself about 3 years ago - and I have succeeded in making at least ONE post for every day of the year since...

I don't really care if anyone reads the entries (people prefer the "quick fix" of Facebook), but I just use it as a diary / reminder for myself, so when I'm 80, in a rocking chair, or in a nursing home, I can look back and see my mundane days, and my exciting days...

Some of my posts are really: I worked, nothing else happened. No pics. Sorry!

LOL
