I hope you won't be too disappointed if the table turns out to be a modern piece. It didn't seem at all typical of an antique when you described it.

Thank you - the lowest panel is quite badly scored and I think it might need, not only ... er, renewing ... but some kind of protective material over it, if that is feasible.

I do suspect that Buddy might be better with more excercise. He seemed to play almost continually, earlier - but I really don't have the time, at the moment... I hope he does settle. He is quite large, and should surely be out of any .. er, juvenile stage.
