Compare notes, mostly, I think. I've never met an alternate of myself, but I have met one of an old squadmate, and the resulting conversation was... extensive, illuminating in parts, and infuriating in others.
No, we ran into each other every so often for a while, though it's been a year or two since the last time. Those later encounters didn't have as much in the way of big conversation, but were still pretty interesting.
(My understanding is that he was from later in the timeline That Could Have Been if my universe's version of our squad hadn't encountered the Nexus when we did. Also, possibly, that his version of me might really have been everything I used to fake being at them. Seeing how I'd developed since then was probably pretty jarring to him, too.)
