happy father's day to any dads reading this...

i'm working from home tomorrow on a trial. we're allowed one day a week, but i have a feeling i'll be too distracted. won't be on lj - have to use the work laptop. ugh.

prayers for a positive result in Iran. it's heartwrenching to think that all that sacrifice might go for naught.

Working from home??? This is wonderful!! How did it turn out? And is this something that could be expanded on in the future?

it didn't go as well as I hoped, couldn't concentrate on my second task as much as I would've liked

I'd have to redesign my workstation - buy a monitor/keyboard, since the laptop is too small.

so, when do you head up for the final frontier? all packed?

We leave 6 AM Friday morning, and I haven't packed a thing yet - too busy getting the house ready for while we're away. Mark should be home from Oregon tomorrow night sometime and then I'll get to packing. I have a packing checklist and everything, lol. White Nights and Midnight Sun here I come!

Sounds like once you expand your home office you'll be able to work from home more often - always a good thing! (if you can keep from surfing too much that is... ;) )

it'll be relegated to once a week - them's the rules. we really need to be on site for some crises, and most meetings. teleconferencing just doesn't work that well I've found.

i hope you have a wonderful vacation... hopefully your puppy doesn't miss you too much. we're still looking at a trip to Toronto for a weekend later in July.
