*glee* there are so many parts that I loved in this chapter!

Altaïr using the orb, situation gone bad, him blacking out... then Malik being angry and Altaïr using "I am your Master" on him.

The massacre between the Tuareg was scary to read... very graphic :D

I love it how Malik still intends to go seek the 3rd fragment even tho he doesn't want to. And Marîd! Really glad you decided him to chase after Malik *bounces around* I hope Malik will write letters to Altaïr while traveling, could be interesting to see Altaïr's response to that, since he cant travel himself now.

I half see what could happen in the sequel, Marîd trying to imitate Assassins and getting Malik into trouble (or him seeing another part of his future), oh and upon Malik's return to Masyaf, I totally see him making fun of Altaïr wearing the Master's robes :D

Aah, enough of my rambling!

I really enjoyed this fic and am looking forward to anything you'll post ^_^

You can never take this fanfiction thing too seriously, because I think you sort of take this fanfiction thing above and beyond. It's amazing -- you really make the story your own, and I love the historical fiction aspect. Man, I can't imagine the effort it takes to get all that research right.

I could probably ramble on and on about how many things I enjoyed in this one, but just pretend it's everything. <3
