She hurried down the stairs and through the common room, more happy than she had been since she'd gotten that letter, just because she was going to see Ace. "Hi, honey." She said with what she hoped passed as a smile when she walked out and saw him.

His lips touched her forehead sweetly, unsure of what she needed. He hated how he always thought that- and he never knew the answer. "And Hello, Gwennie. Mind if I ask what's going on? You don't have to tell me, really. I'm going to leave it up to you." He nodded considerately before sighing, his feet still positioned solidly. He wasn't ready to move yet, not yet.

She closed her eyes when he kissed her forehead and was trying her best to hold back tears. She wasn't going to cry anymore because she was done with that. She looked up at him and out of no where, she threw her arms wround his neck and hugged him. "My parents split up and I don't think I can take it," She whispered, more or less into his shoulder.

He knew how that feel and he sighed to stop himself from feeling sorry for her. No. She needed comfort. She probably needed someone to cry with her and he would if he didn't get it out of his system.
Hah. He was a male. He couldn't show that weakness in front of his girlfriend, and his arms wrapped around her slowly, his senses flared, and he nodded slightly. "Oh, beautiful...you can take it. You're strong and if you need some strength to back you, I'm here. I swear it." Someone...there. Hell, if no one could be there for him he'd definitely be there for her. "I know it's not okay now. But it will be."
