I've been seeing posts about this from everyone. I'm not a member of the fandom but no one is being specific about what happened, so it's making me a little crazy. What happened.
well he's in the korean idol group, 2pm, and the band itself was gaining a lot of popularity recently. Basically Korean netizens dug up his myspace from 4 years ago and they saw comments such as "Korea is gay" and "I hate koreans", but the only reason he said that was because he was born and raised in America and went to Korea to train, so of course it was hard for him to adapt to the culture and all that and netizens were all up on his ass about hating their beloved country. He formally apologized for his actions and he regret that people saw the rude comments he made, but netizens didn't forget and instead kept bashing him and even made a petition for him to commit suicide. In the end he chose to leave the group (and he's leader T_T) and he's... probably never returning to the group.
