But here I am practically bawling
I feel so stupid.
I'm embarassed of myself

If a friend asks you to stop joking about something would you stop?
Or keep joking and wait for them to shut up about it?

Whatever and whoever it is, Vicky, don't cry. Don't be embarrassed of yourself, for whatever you said---and don't feel bad about crying; everybody does, it's okay once and a while. I'm sorry you're upset, and I wish I could make it better.
People tend to cause tears, don't they? It's part of life. But as soon as you've let out the crying, just straighten up and brush your hair and go do something that makes you happy, because wasting an afternoon or a day on them is just...not the answer. Believe me, I know.
