“It's
madness!”, the news had said. An epidemic that was spreading like wildfire and leaving behind a rising count of victims suddenly falling catatonic in the middle of the street. Was it some sort of new biological weapon? A government experiment gone horribly wrong? Or is it the cause of some unworldly force?
Whatever the reason, many will tell you that ever since the appearance of that strange stone castle in middle of Centennial Park, strange things began happening.
THE PREMISE
Hallucinations are happening all throughout Centennial Park and it's surrounding areas. Some harmless, some dangerous, but every last one of them real. What you will see, what you will feel, no one can say for sure. But a rumor has begun spreading that if you're able to stop the young girl called Ace that seems to be at the center of it all, the living nightmares that you once thought existed only 'inside your head' will stop. The only problem is getting to her...
THE DETAILS
This event will span over the next two months: February to mid-March. During this time, there will be two days a week in which your characters will be subjected to the horrors locked away deep inside their minds. The first event will take place on Thursday (2/10), then alternate between Tuesday/Friday one week, Monday/Thursday the next, and the main event happening sometime during mid-March. After which point, all hallucinations will end, and everything will return to normal.
Confused? Don't worry! Here's a nifty little schedule you can look at!

OH, THE THINGS I'VE SEEN...
Muns will get to choose what they want their characters to experience. Mind you, this is just a small list of ideas of things you character could experience while under the influence of Ace's hallucinogenic powers. You are free to choose whatever you want them to experience; ideas that are not presented on the list are greatly encouraged! Heck, you can even drag another character along for the ride if you want to! Hallucinations aren't limited to just one person alone and can be shared with another if you want (i.e. whatever PLAYER ONE sees, so will PLAYER TWO)! The more minds tortured, the better!
A LIFE YOU ONCE HAD
Characters that choose this route will experience fairly harmless hallucinations. Maybe your character is not from this world who suddenly finds themselves back home amongst friends and family. Or maybe they wish to go back to a simpler time, when they were still that young, carefree 8-year old boy enjoying a night out with his parents.
A LIFE YOU WISHED YOU HAD
Tired of being treated like the plague or a contagious disease just because you're not like everyone else? Don't want those powers that make skin-to-skin contact with another human beings all but impossible? Want to be just like your favorite red-suit wearing superhero and travel around the world in the blink of an eye? Then this one's for you! Whatever life you wish you had, be it normal or exciting and action-packed, it's here for the taking!
THE DEAD WALK AGAIN
Everyone has a few skeletons in their closets; a dark, a haunting past that no matter what they do, always manages to find them. Dead friends, lovers, parents, enemies...whoever it is your character has lost or defeated in their lifetime have rose up from their graves. Very much alive and well.
SHOW ME YOUR NIGHTMARES
The default setting for the hallucinations. Deep down inside, we all have something we fear. Something so spine-tingling horrifying, it wakes you from a peaceful sleep with screams and a cold sweat. From melting faces, streets lined with coffins, witnessing the death of a loved one over and over again, it's all here.
*Characters do not need to interact with Ace in order to have their hallucinations, unless the player wants them to! They just have to be within the 2-mile radius of Centennial Park in order to be exposed.
W-WHERE AM I...?
On occasion, the stairway entrance into Ace's castle will be lowered (this times will be specified at the top of each post). During those times, anyone will be allowed to entered should they feel like exploring around her castle for a bit. The
layout of the castle is fairly simple, so finding your way around and locating Ace isn't very hard.
There is only one floor to it, with the staircases in room's 1 and 2 leading to nowhere but the ceiling.
Various types of
statues are scattered around the premises as well and though they seem relatively harmless, have been known to move on occasion as well. So please, don't stand too close to them!
