She was confused. She was hallucinating, not that she knew it, but she was also very confused. Nora couldn't understand where she was or why Victor wasn't here...

The bride noticed the lowered staircase and thought that maybe someone inside could help her. There were statues about her, not the sort would find at a church and Nora became afraid. Still, she climbed the stairway and entered the hallway between the two empty rooms.

"Hello? Can anyone help me?"

Salyna was excited; the other kids from the millennium project and her got to come into the city today for some urban warfare games. Half of the kids would be on red team the other half on blue. Salyna was excited to be on red team, red had always been one of her favorite colors. Their objective was to capture the opposing team's flag and bring it back to their own base. Each player was being equipped with laser-tag weapons of various type as well as flash bangs and smoke bombs. They were also instructed to involve civilians as little as possible as this was a busy metropolitan area. Each player had been dropped off in a separate area of the city, and would communicate with their teammates via radio. Of course she'd misplaced her radio the other day ( ... )

Andy didn't know what people were bitching about, but he was having a great time. The hallucinations, when he had finally let curiosity get the better of him and went to investigate, had made all of his hopes and dreams come true.

In his head, he was the greatest guy in the universe, the video game king, and was the studliest stud to ever stud. This castle was obviously meant for him, right? He went marching happily through the halls, it warped in his eyes into something magnificent and fit for his majesty, decked out in a king's robe, a crown on his head, and carrying a scepter.

Yeah, this really was the life.

Until he ran into this guy.

Andy stopped in his tracks. If he weren't so pleased with himself right now, he'd probably go run screaming, but it seemed his luck had finally changed, so he stood his ground.

"Uh... What are you doing in my castle?"

He raged. Nora was dead. He had seen her; beaten, broken, gone. His love, his perfect wife. And through the mask of grief his rage soared. So he advanced, with implacable, unending vengeance in his heart. He would find the guilty. The guilty would pay. Not with fire, but with ice - the cold hand of vengeance would find them all.

They would freeze. The world would freeze. He would enact his vengeance until he found the culprits, even if he had to destroy the world. The world did not matter, not with her. Not if it had taken her from him. The entire world would feel his loss.

He advanced into the castle, kicking through the door, an armoured knight made blind by rage, but still in service to his lady love. He fired the cold gun, shattering some statuary that had, in his state, looked like a human being.

Her voice echoed off the walls, "Victor? Victor?"

She frowned as her wedding dress got dirty and tried to pick it up while holding her bouquet. When she saw him she didn't see her husband but a dark knight in armor. She froze taking a few steps back in fear.

He saw her ghost. He sagged to his knees.

"I failed you, love, I failed you..."

"Don't hurt me, please!" She asked him, "Oh God, Victor where are you? Don't do this to me!"

It hurt so much, he was going to meet her at the altar. Wasn't he coming? It was already hours late and the guests had all left. The priest said she could always come back to the church if she found him. Why did he leave her?
